My personal art mojo has been in the doldrums for quite some time now, beaten down by work and my own lack of confidence in my abilities. However, after a burst of inspiration from watching the new Jason Chan Painter tutorial on conceptart.org, I'm finding my way back to being motivated, and learning some new stuff along the way too, which is what it's all about.

This particular piece was done in photoshop (as painter is still a raw tool in my hands!) a kind of opposite to the angel that can be seen in my piece "Colours of the Wind". Took about 4 hours and the colour scheme was minimal, about 5 colours, chosen from a colour scheme site as a means of challenging myself, as I usually work with the whole spectrum of colours.
