Hi! My name is Sam Hogg, and I currently live and work in the north of England as a freelance graphic designer and artist. I've been artistic since I was little, and after completing my schooling to A Level standard, I took a job painting tiny pictures for Global Miniatures. After three years, I took on the job I am currently in, graphic design, though I still work freelance for Global Miniatures whenever they need a hand.
I pursue my art in my spare time and do commissions on a regular basis in traditional media. However, having discovered digital art a couple of years ago, I am being fast consumed by a love of all things artistic and digital, in 2D currently, but when time allows, I'd love to branch to 3D. My styles vary from realism, to vector art, to manga style and speed paints in digital, and I work in just about every medium imaginable in traditional, aside from pastels and charcoal.
I write in my spare time, and have one full 500 page novel just about completed. I hope very much to see it published eventually and would love to make my living from that particular gift. Artistically, I'd love to move from graphic design to concept design, everything from characters to places, to storyboarding and creatures. In anything artistic, I love variety.
